Bringing Innovation to Insurance

Since its inception 80 years ago, a large mutual insurance company had experienced little change in its culture, products, and business model. After acknowledging the need for change, it engaged (r)evolution to build a new product development process that would lead to significant future growth. What resulted was a five-phase innovation process embraced by the organization for its comprehensiveness and efficacy. In fact, the process produced over 500 ideas across the client’s product lines. (r)evolution’s deliverable included a detailed manual outlining each phase of the innovation process and workshops to prepare the client for future stages in the new product development process.
